Pack Light

As a girl who doesn't pack so light I'm not sure what I could squeeze into these itty bitty Chanel bags. I adore the metallic backpack which begs the question, are the back pouches back? I've been rocking this Gucci one on bike rides, but I wouldn't mind downsizing to one of these, gifted of course lol.

Blue Beauty

Stella McCartney's Fall 2012 show was filled with fabulous cobalt blue threads, but the clothes weren't the only thing in the cool hue. Famed makeup artist Pat McGrath coated the models lashes with blue mascara to follow suit. The rest of the face was kept neutral, allowing the eyes/lashes to really be the focal point. As a lady who likes to keep a simple face, I think these lashes are a perfect way to add a wow element without having to really change the makeup routine. Count me in on this trend.

Yesterday was Rapper/Producer Kanye West's second presentation since debuting his self titled clothing line in 2011. The star studded show took place at La Halle Freyssinet, the same venue where fashion heavyweight Alber Elbaz celebrated his 10 year anniversary with the House of Lanvin days prior.

In the music world Kanye is at the top of his game. He successfully crossed over from being a hit making producer to a lucrative recording artist, and he paid his dues. I'm not sure why Ye's approach to fashion hasn't been as humble. To hold your second fashion show ever  in the same venue as on of the most celebrated designers of today is a bit ambitious, considering the lone 20 looks that went down the runway. While this collection was a step up from last season, it seemed a bit contrived. Perhaps he should scale back and hone his skills, or "crawl for you ball" if you will.  The clothes will thank him for it.

So Long Stefano

Former YSL creative director Stefano Pilati's last presentation was today. Over the years he has produced stunning collections for the fashion house, and I have mixed emotions about his departure... While I am a bit put off by the news, I am also very curious and excited to see what lies ahead for both the legendary brand, and Stefano.

Kenzo For the Cool in You

The super duo followed up their über cool Pre-Fall presentation with a Fall 2012 assortment that is equally as cool. The theme of this collection was interiors, but I can't imagine anyone wanting to lounge around the house with clothes as fabulous as these. These are threads you want to get out and been seen in.

Celine! Celine!

I felt like I needed to enlist the talent of Theo Huxtable to really drive the point of how much I love Justine Celine lol.

Phoebe really seems to understand how to make minimalism chic. This Fall 2012 collection is certainly no exception. I dig the color blocking in this collection, a trend that seems to be holding on strong.

Love Haider

The first time I really took notice of Haider Ackermann was after seeing Ataui Deng all over my Tumblr Dashboard around this time last year. She was draped up and dripped out in what seemed to be the most sensuous fabrics on earth. I viewed the entire fall/winter 2011 collection and became an instant fan. Haider masters luxe with a bit of an urban flair. I love that.

The Fall/Winter 2012 collection was no different than the others; fabulous fabrics in rich vibrant colors, and draping to die for.
